Expert Insights: Key Budget Takeaways

Following on from this week’s Budget announcement on Wednesday, we asked Les Cameron, Head of Technical at M&G, for his key takeaways on what the changes could mean for you.

Les heads up the Technical team at M&G who support financial advisers across the UK – interpreting budget changes, legislation, offering planning insights, and helping advisers navigate complex financial planning scenarios. He spends his time reading, writing and speaking at conferences about pensions, tax and trusts. He’s also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

The views expressed by Les Cameron should not be taken as a recommendation or advice.

Tax rules can change and the impact of taxation and any tax reliefs depends on your circumstances, including where you live.
