About Aled Pashley

I am a Financial Adviser with a background in Mathematics. Thanks to my father, I have grown up in the financial advice industry and have been involved in daily aspects of client support from an early age. After graduating from Swansea University with a BSc. (Hons) in Mathematics, I followed my father into business and in 2013 set up my own practice. I provide financial advice across the South Wales area and into the West of England, working primarily from both Cardiff and Swansea.

My approach to advice has always been very client-driven, and I strive to complete all of my recommendations to the highest standards. I currently hold several qualifications including the required level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice, as well as qualifications in other areas. I am currently studying towards achieving Chartership within the financial advice sector.

Please feel free to get in touch if there is anything you would like to talk about.

Financial advice is about so much more than money. To me it’s about helping my clients achieve the future they want for themselves and their families. Helping you realise financial security and put your hard-earned money to work is what drives me as a Sandringham Partner.

During my time as a financial adviser, I’m proud to have helped people from all walks of life. A common misconception is that advice is reserved for the wealthy, but you don’t have to have millions in the bank to benefit. I’ve helped people from diverse backgrounds and professions reach their goals. It’s a big part of why I love what I do.

Savings & investments

Whether you’re just getting started or a seasoned investor – financial advice could help you get more from your money. I start by understanding your needs and financial ambitions – this might be working towards a particular goal, or helping loved ones down the line.

It’s important we consider things like your ability to make regular payments, any one-off investments you could make, your level of comfort regarding market volatility and risk and how long you’re looking to invest for. I can then recommend the investment products that I believe best match your aims and expectations.

Pensions & retirement planning

Have you considered what you want your retirement to look like? Most people accept that it’s generally a good idea to save into a pension. But will it give you enough to live the life you want in retirement? The earlier you lay the groundwork, the better. Effective retirement planning could mean you’re financially better off and have more time to spend on the things you love.

It’s never too late to put plans in place or discuss your options. I can look at your situation and recommend which steps to take, based on where you are in life, to help make your income last in retirement.

Protection

We can’t predict what life has in store for us, for better or worse. But we can prepare ourselves. If you become unwell and can’t work, you may not be able to pay your bills and your family could be left in financial difficulty. I can help you create a protection plan that might include income protection, life cover and critical illness cover. Knowing you’ve taken out financial protection to take care of things could mean one less worry for you and your loved ones.

Estate & inheritance planning

It might not be nice to think about, but having a plan in place for what happens to your money and other assets when you die can have a huge impact. The earlier you have these conversations and put plans in place, the longer you have to make better use of tax allowances, so more of your wealth can be enjoyed by your loved ones.

There are some financial implications to consider when passing on wealth as well as your own personal wishes for your money, and I can help you create a plan that considers both. Tax rules can change and the impact of taxation and any tax relief depends on your circumstances, including where you live.
